Message from Brian21st May 2006 -- It does not seem like a week ago that Maxine and I were sitting at Crabby Jacks ploughing through our Seafood platter - in the sunshine - with a glass of wine whilst this evening we are at home with the fire lit, torrential rain, blowing a gale - what hose pipe ban ! not here in the West Country at least. We hope all those that attended our second reunion in Guernsey are saying it is the best reunion this year and we hope you have safely returned home and are already planning for next year in The Borders - more news from Ian Geddes and David Conway in due course. I am sure everyone who attended has sent their thank you's to Alan and Val. They arranged a tremendous weekend and the speaker certainly entertained with GSE and Guernsey history. At our AGM on the Sunday morning apologies were given, plans made for future reunions and suggestions made regarding timing of the reunion. Neil is going to look into the latter and circulate everyone in due course. Pictures will be appearing on The Pilgrims web site as will a synopsis of the weekend. More news of this to come. Maxine and I wish you well in your Rotary work and trust it will not be too long before our paths cross again.
